How We Handle Chat Contents

When a match ends, the associated Discord thread is deleted, removing all messages. There are two exceptions.

User-initiated reports

  • If a user reports their match via the in-app report button, the thread is locked and preserved for moderator review.
  • The user-provided report reason is stored in our database.

Automatic content moderation

  • Dismatch monitors messages in active match threads for flagged phrases.
  • If a phrase is detected, the thread is automatically locked and a moderation report is filed.
  • Up to 400 characters of the flagged message may be stored for staff review.
  • If no violation is confirmed, this excerpt may be cleared at moderator discretion.

How We Disclose Your Information

We do not share any user data or chat information with third parties.

Server staff can view active match reports, and only administrators have access to stored moderation records. Direct access to the database is restricted solely to the developer.

How We Protect Your Information

User and match data are securely stored in our database, encrypted at rest. Access is restricted solely to the developer.

How to Control Your Privacy

Your data is automatically deleted when you leave the server. If you would like your data removed while remaining in the server, please open a ticket in #support-us.

Once your data is deleted, interacting with Dismatch again, such as sending a message in the server, using any bot command, or clicking any bot feature, will result in new data being collected as described in this policy.
